Knowing natura 2000 marine sites to love and protect them

LIFE A-MAR NATURA2000 will be presented in Rome

Meeting on the project dedicated to the enhancement of Mediterranean marine sites

Federparchi and partners Triton Research, Lipu and Fundación Biodiversidad will illustrate the actions planned to make more and more people fall in love with and protect these important biodiversity treasure chests

The first presentation event of the LIFE A-MAR NATURA2000 project organised by Federparchi Europarc Italia in collaboration with Triton Research and the participation of LIPU and Fundación Biodiversidad will be held in Rome on Thursday 4 May.

During the morning, open to all stakeholders in marine issues, the project’s activities will be illustrated with particular reference to the upcoming sailing campaign, departing on 15 May from the port of La Spezia thanks to the collaboration with Lega Navale Italiana , which will touch no less than 5 regions (Liguria, Sicily, Tuscany, Sardinia and Lazio) and over 30 marine sites of the Natura 2000 Network.

In the afternoon, the meeting will continue behind closed doors with a networking session with representatives of important European projects.
Presentations will start at 10.15 am at the Etico Food venue in via Giuseppe Pisanelli 39.
