Litorale di Torre Astura

The area, located in the territory of the city of Nettuno, along the Lazio coast, has been used as a military firing range since 1888, the year when the Nettuno Artillery School was established. The site is characterized by both ancient and recent dune deposits and predominantly sandy coastal aeolian deposits, with the presence of typical entomofauna. The succession of plant formations on the coastal dunes is well-preserved.
