Fondali tra Terracina e Lago Lungo

The seabedsbetween Terracina and Lago Lungo represents a coastal area of significant ecological value, covering 2,182 hectares. This site is situated along the coast of Lazio, within the municipalities of Terracina, Fondi, and Sperlonga. The zone is characterized by the presence of seabedsand cliffs that host a rich marine biodiversity. The presence of Posidonia oceanica meadows is one of the most interesting feature of the site: it is inhabited by numerous species of invertebrates, vertebrates, and fish.
