Fondali Scogli di Isca

The area immediately surrounding the two Isca islets (big and small) for 6 hectares constitutes the Isca Blue Oasis which is managed by the WWF of Amantea since 1991, on a state concession from the Port Captaincy of Vibo Valentia (no. 255 dated 12/7/91). It is a restricted site of climax Posidonia, with high biodiversity; this habitat is an important nursery for fish, including economically valuable species, and for the protection of the coast from erosion..
