Fondali Punta Sestri

The site extends within the municipality of Sestri Levante, in the province of Genoa. The seabedsare characterized by the presence of a Posidonia meadow, a priority habitat. The meadow has a small extension and borders with Cymodocea formations and rocky areas. Moreover, the habitat of the Posidonia meadow extends into the Gulf of Levante to depths of less than one meter, making it unique in the area.
