Until midnight on 15 October 2023<\/strong>, those who photograph the beauty of the Mediterranean can participate in the first edition of the photo contest “Life above and under the sea<\/strong><\/em>” linked to LIFE A-MAR NATURA2000 (see below for the rules).<\/p>\n

\nTitle: “LIFE ABOVE AND UNDER THE SEA”<\/p>\n

In the event that the subject of the photo is an animal, this must have been portrayed in the Mediterranean basin and captive subjects are not allowed.<\/p>\n

5. TYPE OF IMAGES<\/strong>
\nParticipation in the Contest is open to all. Each author can submit a maximum number of 3 images (hereinafter also only the “Work” or the “Works” or “Images”).
\nWorks in Jpg format are admitted to the competition, with the long side of at least 2,000 pixels. Raw photos are not allowed.
\nImages can be both in color and in black and white. Normal chromatic, tone, contrast, saturation and level corrections are allowed. Photomontages, retouching with the removal or addition of key elements are not permitted. Furthermore, frames, dates, signatures and writings superimposed on the photos are not permitted. At the time of registration, the works must not have obtained prizes or mentions in photographic competitions.
\nEach author is personally responsible for the object of the work presented and its description, relieving the organizers of any liability. Participation in the competition implies that the images sent do not infringe any third party rights. The author of the photograph therefore guarantees that he has obtained the necessary authorization for the images that portray people and\/or things for which it is necessary to obtain a specific consent.<\/p>\n

6. SENDING THE PICTURES<\/strong>
\nThe photographs must be sent by email or via WeTransfer to the following address:
\ninfo@lifeamarnatura2000.eu<\/a>.
\nEach work must be numbered, bear the initials of the author’s Name and Surname and have a title (for example, “Mario Rossi, photo n.1 relating to a dolphin” will be: MR_Delfino_1). For each photograph sent, the area in which it was taken must be indicated (e.g. Open Sea in front of Genoa; Isola di Vulcano coast; Portofino Marine Protected Area; Spa Secche di Tor Paterno; etc.).<\/p>\n

The deadline for accepting the images sent is 11.59 pm on 15 October 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7. RIGHTS<\/strong>
\nThe ownership and rights of the Images belong to the authors, who grant Triton Research Srl the right of free use and publication \u2013 online and offline \u2013 of the Works presented, with the obligation to indicate the name of the author. The latter authorizes Triton Research Srl to publish and disseminate the Images for purposes related to the Competition, its communication and promotion, such as catalogue, calendar and website (with watermark, if required), for exhibitions or for other cultural purposes.
\nTriton Research Srl will not be able to assign the rights of use to third parties in any way, nor use the images of the authors for profit.
\nEach author declares to be the exclusive owner of the copyright on the Images and is personally responsible for the object of the Work presented and its description, relieving Triton Research Srl from any liability. Participation in the competition implies that the Images sent do not infringe any third party rights. The author of the Images therefore guarantees that he has obtained the necessary authorization for the Images that portray people and\/or things for which it is necessary to obtain specific consent, relieving Triton Research Srl from any liability.
