The Monte Hacho area, located in the city of Ceuta, can be divided into two distinct geomorphological regions. To the east, there is a series of cliffs with many inlets, overhangs, and a beach formed by deposited materials. Conversely, bedrock outcrops are interspersed with geological deposits in a north-westerly direction. The eastern part of the massif contains numerous coves and narrow inlets that provide ample shaded areas. Due to the steep terrain, several small caves are exposed during low tide.
