This town is in the north of Mallorca, in the municipalities of Valldemossa and Banyalbufar. It is in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range. It is not adjacent to any of the other Natura 2000 sites. This is a small pebble beach and the adjacent marine environment. It occupies 26% of the declared area. The area is dominated by the habitat of the Mediterranean Aleppo pine forest, which occupies 62 per cent of the surface area. In addition to habitats of interest such as Posidonia meadows, this area is also home to important species such as the Eleonora’s Falcon (Falco eleonorae), the European Shag (Phalacrocorax aristotelis desmarestii) and the Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus).
