A natural area of small granite hills in the province of Girona. The massif forms a rocky coastline, high and steep, very abrupt and subject to the dynamics of the sea. The complex is a natural area of exceptional geological, botanical, and scenic value and is of great uniqueness. It is one of the best examples of the Catalan granite coast. It is worth highlighting the geological uniqueness of the massif. Some of its most characteristic formations can be found here. For example, exceptional granite outcrops and granite blocks have been modelled by erosive agents, giving rise to very curious shapes such as those of Pedralta. Along the coastline of the massif, there are also plant communities that are typical of granite cliffs. There are also rocky seabed habitats.
