There are islets located off the southeastern coast of Ibiza. The Illa de Santa Eulària is the largest of these islands, with a surface area of just over four hectares. A shallow channel approximately 500 metres wide separates them from the coast. The coastline is entirely occupied by buildings, tourist beaches, and marinas. Several significant species nest on these islets. Moreover, they are home to three subspecies of the Pitiusas Lizard, along with endemic invertebrates. Posidonia meadows almost exclusively cover the entire seabed.
