Espacio marino de Tabarca

The marine area includes the waters between Cabo de Palos and the bay of Alicante. The area comprises the waters surrounding several small islands, including Isla Grosa (Murcia), Islas Hormigas (Murcia), and Isla de Tabarca (Alicante). This marine area is of great importance as a feeding ground for seabirds. It is home to the best-preserved Posidonia meadows on the Valencian coast.
