Costa de l’Oest d’Eivissa

It is a completely marine area belonging to the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia. It covers more than 18 km of coastline, with depths of up to 70 m in just 400 m. This area’s quality and importance is based on the presence of priority habitats, mainly Posidonia meadows. Uncontrolled anchoring and excessive maritime traffic are the main threats to this area.
