Cala Figuera

It is a maritime and terrestrial area. It is located between the towns of Valldemossa and Deià. It is bordered to the northwest by Sa Marina del Puerto de Valldemossa, to the northeast by Punta de Deià and to the south by the Ma-10 motorway. The sea accounts for 77% of its total surface area. The presence of extensive and well-preserved Posidonia oceanica meadows characterises the marine area. Mixed coniferous and deciduous forests dominate the terrestrial area. These cover 23% of the area. The area is also known for having been chosen by many seabirds to breed.
