Área marina Punta Prima – Illa de l’Aire

This area includes the marine area around Isla del Aire, located off the southeast coast of Menorca. Its quality and importance lie mainly in the presence of diverse habitats such as Posidonia meadows, reefs, and underwater caves, all of which are listed in the Habitats Directive. The main threats to these habitats are overfishing and the anchoring of pleasure boats.
