Área marina del Nord de Menorca

The marine area from the Punta des Morts (Mola de Fornells) to the Cap Gros consists of the islets of Sa Nitja (Cap de Cavalleria) and the islets in the interior of the bay of Fornells. The area’s seabed is in a good state of conservation. This is especially true of the Posidonia meadows, which in some parts of the area form real reefs.
