Acantilados y Fondos Marinos de La Punta de La Mona

This coastal area is in the Granada province and is mainly composed of marine-exposed cliffs. The area features a continuous rock formation with a high biodiversity of benthic organisms, including dense populations of some species. Additionally, many endangered species inhabit these rocky bottoms. On the other hand, emerging areas are influenced by the sea (waves, spray, and marine aerosols), creating habitats of community interest requiring land and sea interaction.
