The “seabeds between the mouths of Arrone torrent and Marta river” are located along the central-northern coast of the Lazio region. This area is distinguished by the presence of an extensive meadow of Posidonia oceanica, one of the largest in the central Tyrrhenian Sea. The seabed in this region exhibits morphological complexity, characterized by puddles of water and jagged bathymetrics. Moreover, the occurance of the species Pinna nobilis – protected under the European Union’s Habitats Directive – makes the site of particular significance, ince the species is currently at risk of extinction.
