Es Amunts d’Eivissa

Located in the northwestern part of the island of Ibiza, in the municipalities of Sant Antoni de Portmany and Sant Joan de Labritja, it covers an area of almost 1,500 hectares and includes both terrestrial and marine areas. This area is characterised by its orography and irregularity, with elevations of 300 to 400 metres, separated by small valleys and streams, where some of the best agricultural land on the island can be found. To the north, the peaks plunge into the sea, forming spectacular cliffs. This is one of the last wildlife reserves in Pitiusas. Some endemic plants can be found in these more inaccessible corners. Many rare or endemic birds of prey and seabirds find refuge here.
