Área marina de cala Saona

This marine area is located on the west coast of Formentera, between Punta de Sa Gavina and Punta des Bou. It is worth noting the presence of habitats of priority interest, such as the Posidonia meadows. It is also home to interesting fauna, such as the Loggerhead Turtle and Bottle-Nose Dolphin. Uncontrolled anchoring and excessive shipping traffic are the main threats to this area.
